Priceline Hotel: Chicago May 15-18 4* NMA

Today I tried bidding for a 4* hotel on North Michigan Avenue and on Loop/GP for $100.

It was rejected.

Following posted advice, I went to the EasyClickTravel site and found a room in the whitehall for $147.95 (with taxes).

Any advice on how to beat this for a 4-star on NMA. Or should I be happy with the deal I got?
