lables Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Just wondering if it's better to split days when bidding for a room or is it better to use a longer period. I'll be bidding for up to a month at a time...past bids have not gone through. Also, from the previous posts on here, it appears that bidding last minute is better than bidding in advance...is that true? Also, is it possible to find a room for $50 (or less - 2.5* or more) on the north shore of Long Island (nassau or very eastern suffolk counties)?Any assistance would be appreciated....thanks!

lables Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 My situation changed and I found alternate housing so it was not necessary for me to bid. Thanks for the information!
lables Posted January 20, 2008 Author Report Posted January 20, 2008 My situation changed and I found alternate housing so it was not necessary for me to bid. Thanks for the information!Almost forgot....I did bid for a room in Melville back in 8/27/07 - 8/31/07 and got 3* Marriott for $95I tried to get the Mansion 2.5* for the same time period but was unsucessful. Highest bid for there was $75. I was suprised since I saw so many people get it for $70.
