Tried to book for the inlaws for a visit. Here's my history. I was hopeful to get some of the rates earlier posted at the Hyatt/Doubletree, but no luck

First Try:

Jersey City zone, 3*

$65 bid rejected

added Elizabeth as a rebid zone

$75 bid rejected

Second Try

Jersey City zone, 3*

$101 bid rejected

added 2.5*, $90 bid rejected

added 2.0*, $90 bid accepted

Won Candlewood Suites

It's a little more than we wanted to pay, but is actually closer in walking distance to our apt. and at a savings of 36% to the rack rate, so we're happy!

Bummer that $101 didn't hit the Hyatt -- I'm travelling the same weekend

and I've been eyeing that but have not had much success so far
