Priceline Hotel: Bidding 2* Williamsburg $40 rejected

I bid up to $40 for Williamsburg 2* but rejected. I was going for 3* but that didn't work. Checking choice hotels' website, they have quality inn and comfort inn for $54 so I'm not going to bid much more than $40, I prefer just to book direct with hotel so my plans are more flexible. Will update if I bid more.
