mvsosso Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I bid $150/ night for a 4* on priceline in the NMA zone. The bid was rejected. Any help? What do you think it will take to win?
AaronJB Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 There's blues fest going on during these dates, so rates are higher. I think you're looking at at least the $175 neighborhood.
mvsosso Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 You think $175 will get a 4* in NMA? Any particular hotels that are most likely to come in at that price?
AaronJB Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 There's no guarantee that you will get a hotel at any price - it's whether or not PL has inventory. $175 is the next likely neighborhood, given that $150 was rejected.. The Westin and Intercontinental appear booked solid, so you're likely looking at the Sheraton, Knickerbocker, W or maybe Wyndham.

AaronJB Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Lowest rate is $299, so very good deal. I liked this W when I stayed there; better-than-average room service and great beds. The Sears Tower is a block away and there's an "L" station right by the hotel.
