thereuare Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding! Thanks for sharing your results with the board!I have actually stayed at this hotel during a Boston trip a couple of years ago. The hotel is very nice and convenient to the nearby mall and a 'shopping arcade' attached to the hotel's building. There is a T stop just outside the hotel's doors within a block a so (i forget which line it is).Overall a nice hotel with a great Westin heavenly bed!FYI, parking in the area is EXPENSIVE and on the street parking is tough too due to residential restrictions in many places. At check-in i requested a room on a high floor with a view and was offered an upgrade for $30 which i declined. Walls were a little thin. There is a nice pool, hot tub, and fitness area which was nice to relax in.Hope you have a pleasant stay. jhand Posted February 27, 2004 Author Report Posted February 27, 2004 Thanks for the welcome- and the advice!I have stayed several times at the Sheraton Copley, but never at the Westin- I've had my eye on it for some time, but it's always been out of our price range (till now :) . We won't have a car this time, as we're on a 2 day layover enroute to Florida, so the parking won't be an issue- thanks for the heads-up all the same. Hope the info helps someone here.
