I was hoping to repeat the success of previous posters in getting the Hilton London Metropole hotel in October for $81.00. Initially bid US$81.00 Regents Park-Maida Vale, then $85.00 Regents Park-Maida Vale, Bloomsbury, then $91.00 4&5* for Regents Park-Maida Vale, Bloomsbury, Mayfair.

I will wait a few days, watch the bidding histories and try again.

I can't figure out how to change the title so will post again.

After some reading, I looked at hotwire prices and matched the icons with hotwire vacations using the same quality stars and locations. THe only one that looked like it was currently highly discounted was the Hilton Islington. I bid $85 for Regents Park still hoping for the Hilton Metropole - I then added Islington at $87.00 and was accepted for the Hilton Islington. It sounds like it will be fine for my needs.

After some reading, I looked at Hotwire prices and matched the icons with Hotwire vacations using the same quality stars and locations. The only one that looked like it was currently highly discounted was the Hilton Islington. Nothing was very cheap in Regents Park. I bid $85 for Regents Park still hoping for the Hilton Metropole - I then added Islington at $87.00 and was accepted for the Hilton Islington. It sounds like it will be fine for my needs. Far, far cheaper than the Hilton's website price of USD 263 per night.
