nhaste Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Looking for 2 rooms in NYC either 2 or 3 star... want to keep it around $100 a night (per room). Is that going to be next to impossible for a weekend in May?ThanksNick
thereuare Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Which zones are you considering? We do sometimes see sub-$100 wins in NYC, but i would have to caution against going as low as 2 stars unless you really don't care about the quality of the hotel... remember that you're buying a hotel "sight unseen", and while there may be some 2* gems out there... you could just as easily get something on the other side of the spectrum. If you're not successful at $100, what is your best alternative? (ie- where would you stay and how much would it cost?) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
nhaste Posted May 24, 2007 Author Report Posted May 24, 2007 I ended up getting nothing... kept trying to bid up to $115... apparently it was a busy weekend in New York! Stayed at the Park Central for $300 a night!
