Going to London for an eight night stay in September/October. Thought if I tried real early I could low-ball the bids and might get lucky. Over the last few days I've been trying for areas in both Regents Park-Baker St and Bloomsbury-Marble Arch bidding between $70 and $79. Rejected every time.

Today I decide to go a bit higher. First tried Regents Park-Baker St at $80 and got rejected. Added Bloomsbury-Marble Arch and raised to $81 and was successful.

The hotel's website has rooms starting at 272 CND a night, or what would be $2176 over the course of our stay. Even going with an exchange rate of 1.2% Priceline got it for me at $932 CND - or at about 42.8% of what Hilton was offering!

Excellent. Thanks for the post. I have to be in Europe the first 4 days of that trip and went ahead and booked to guarantee the excellent savings. This hotel has great access to the Bakerloo line - which is my favorite as it's fast and stops in Oxford Circus and Piccadilly. Also has great bus lines for when you're out too late.
