Priceline Hotel: 3* all Midtown 5/5 - 5/8

HI - I am looking for a decent priced hotel in one of the midtowns.

I want a 3* but maybe i'll have to go down to 2.5*. (how bad are the 2.5*?)

I attached below what i bid so far - I went up to $155 (all were rejected).

What do you think i should do? There is a hotwire station square 3* for $169. which i presume is the paramount. I guess 160 would be my next highest bid.

Should I wait a bit? Should i go down to 2.5*?

I would continue to raise your bids on the next round of bidding... that is a decent price for a 3* hotel this time of year (notice how all the other options in the neighboring zones are much more expensive).

If you're rejected on your next round of bidding i would just take the HOTWIRE offer (and please use our link to begin your purchase)

went up to $163 with no luck.

and the hotwire 169 disappeard. :)

I guess i'll have to wait a bit.

Tried again up to $180 4* and up to $166 3* with no luck. (all through savingsbarn)

Also looked at Jersey city, but prices seem very high over there also.

Made a backup reservation through Pod Hotel (with your link) for $175.

will wait and try again a week before.

If you don't want to go higher than your back-up resevation then you've probably done all you can for now.

However, i would try more frequently than one week before your stay... maybe every 4-5 days at this point if you have the time.
