Case Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 On Priceline first bid for a 3* in Latin Q/St Germain/Montparnasse was $100: rejected.Jumped straight to $110 and successful.Probably not that big a bargain but at fairly short notice I'm happy with this.6 nights 04/20-04/27.Cheers.(and sorry for not putting the price in the topic heading, theres no way to modify this :) )
thereuare Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! Is the hotel you received the Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon? If so, I believe this hotel is in the Bastille-Bercy zone... is that the zone you added when you jumped from $100 to $110? I've edited your topic title to reflect this property and zone, please confirm if this is correct (or clarify if not). Thanks for sharing and enjoy your stay. Case Posted March 31, 2007 Author Report Posted March 31, 2007 Hi and thanks,The Hotel is actually the Novotel Paris Gare Montparnasse in the St. Germain - Latin Quarter - Montparnassearea as per Priceline's classification. But looking at the area map it is probably closer to the Eiffel Tower - Grenelle side of Montparnasse. Either way their full address is as returned by Priceline is:St. Germain - Latin Quarter - Montparnasse17 Rue Du Cotentin Paris, France Its a fairly new hotel that opened in June 06', apparently.
