Rates at the beginning of June are typically high, although this is slightly higher than usual.

I know i'm beginning to sound like a broken record in the NYC forum, but i keep brining up the Beekman Tower which is available for the above dates for as low as $192 for a studio suite ($215 for a 1BR suite). The location is a bit east, but it's easy enough to get around Manhattan, and the reviews are very good. I keep repeating it just because it seems like such a good deal during the otherwise expensive spring season in NYC. As well, it's cancellable up until a few days before your stay, so you have the ability to continue to better your deal as your check-in date approaches.
