Best price at Hyatt.com was $165/night, and Hotwire had it for $89/night, so the savings are not bad.

I'm think <$50 would have won a 3* but after my terrible stay at the so-called "3*" Flamingo (motel) last year, I'd rather pay the extra $30 for a better room, even if it's for one night. I really wish Priceline would downgrade the Flamingo! For what it's worth, the listed prices for the 3*s were:

Hilton $179

Fountain Grove $169

Sheraton $159

Doubletree $143

Flamingo $99

So the risk for a 3* was definitely not worth it, as the likeliest hotel would be the Flamingo.
