gabriell57
I'm new to this forum and new to priceline. I placed a bid for $53 for a 4* in downtown Toronto on 4/13/07 and was rejected; not surprised as it was a low bid and my first experience.I used to get great deals on ebay for Toronto hotels from charity auctions, but don't see them anymore; if so the deals aren't that great. If a stay was booked through priceline, can you still get the points offered through the hotels rewardprogram? like Marriott rewards or Starwood preferred guest? thereuare
The general rule is that you won't receive points or stay credit for your stay... but even if you put a dollar value on the points you would have earned, the savings of the opaque suppliers typically far outweighs the value of the points you would have received if booking direct. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
MJRBIM
You usually earn points on the non-room portion of your spending (Parking, Room Service, etc). Link to comment
