Can you offer a bidding strategy for Sarasota area at 2.5* or better. Could drop to 2* if price is right and hotel selection is acceptable.

Tried in recent weeks 3* up to $115...none accepted.

Tried 2.5* up to $95...none accepted.

Tried splitting dates 3/30-4/2 and 4/2-4/6.

Perhaps Sarasota is out of my price range. What do you recommend. Thanks.

Which area(s) of Sarasota were you bidding and what is your maximum bid?

At 3* I was using Downtown and all rebid zones.

At 2.5* I limited myself to East with rebid zones Downtown and Venice.

I'd prefer to stay within the Downtown zone but am open to suggestions.

I want to stay under $100 / night but for 3* figure I could go to $120 / night.

Well you're only $5 away from your maximum bid for each star level, so raise your bidding strategy to that amount and if rejected we'll then try to find your next best alternatives (as it seems like you'll likely change zones if unsuccessful?)

This is Spring Break for many schools, and with only 4 days before your check-in, i'm sure a lot of hotels are already booked or have very little excess inventory.

Tried over several weeks without success. This was the first bid for these dates and it was accepted. Perhaps it might have been lower.
