Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) Help

I am looking to book 3 rooms for the above dates in the Millenium-Loop-Grant Park area. We want to spend around $70 a night. Is this possible? I am expecting too much. Any advice on what to bid.

$70 is going to come in too low for these dates. With some hotels as much as $500 or $600 for these dates, I'm doubtful that $70 will be accepted in general, unfortunately. Many hotels downtown are sold out or not accepting arrivals for more than a certain amount of nights. When the 2* Best Western Downtown is $399, things are not good.

The one suggestion is that the Club Quarters Loop is showing rates of about $229ish for these dates. If you were to bid $90 for a 3* in the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area, this may be a possible win, but chances - given how busy these dates are - are pretty slim.

I could suggest some terrific places to stay in the burbs if you're interested.

Thanks for the advice. I would try for this but the rooms look small and ther will be 12 of us going...4 per room. Do you think Hotwire would be a better option? or maybe NMA?

Priceline does not guarantee occupancy for 4, only 2. HOTWIRE would be the only option in this case.

With 3 rooms and 12 people total on HOTWIRE, the only downtown option on these dates is what appears to be the Hotel Indigo for $326 a night per room.

You can get rooms at the Marriott Residence Inn in Deerfield (about a 35 minute train ride North of the city) that are 2 BR/2BA Suites with 1,000 square feet of space each for $149. There are also smaller Penthouse Suites for $129. 1 of each would certainly be more than enough room for your party.
