DallasFlier Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 The Worthington is the nicest hotel in downtown Ft. Worth. Older, but nicely and relatively recently renovated. Cheapest rate available on the Renaissance website for this date is showing as $145, I was a bit surprised to get it for $50, on my first bid.Taking my girl over for the weekend, going to see Rob Becker!(My first foray into Priceline, and also my first post here.)-Gary-
DallasFlier Posted February 20, 2004 Author Report Posted February 20, 2004 BTW, I checked first and only one property popped up on Hotwire - 3 1/2 stars there, for $190! Not sure what property that might have been.-Gary-
thereuare Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding!Seems like you got a great deal on your hotel. The hardest thing now is going to be able to restrain yourself and not tell everyone you meet about your savings (you'll start to find ways to work it into the conversation with random people). :) Guess you're a convert and won't be booking thru 'conventional' methods anymore.Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the rest of the board and helping our database continue to grow.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
DallasFlier Posted February 20, 2004 Author Report Posted February 20, 2004 OK, noticing your picture, I just couldn't let that pass, had to go find one! Go Big Red! :)
