Priceline Hotel: PLEASE ADVISE: DC 06/02/2007-06/05/2007 4*/2 rooms

hello all,

i'm planning a family outing (minivan style!!) to DC, our first trip out there.

if i can secure the White House - Downtown for MAX $100 bid/room, i would be so happy!!

since, we will probably never go there again as a family, the White House - Downtown location would make it so much more memorable.

any advice??

wow, judging by HOTWIRE prices, $100 might not cut it for priceline...

i'll take any suggestions u guys have.. a memorable place for a decent price :)

I'm not sure what prices you're seeing on HOTWIRE as i don't see any 4* hotels offered in the White House zone when searching for your dates.

Did you check EasyClickTravel?

i was only using hotwire as a guide to the starting bid.

intend to use priceline bid for purchase, any 4* in DC area, $100 max. [white house- downtown preferred]

While i too doubt you'll be successful, you can try as follows:

When bidding 4* in Washington DC you have four re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* White House...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $65, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Whilte House and re-bid zone2

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $75, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Whilte House and re-bid zone3

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $85, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Whilte House and re-bid zone4

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $95, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.
