samk Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 "go blue" anyhow, my first bid for a 4 star in san diego (downtown), specifically at the omni was accepted for $95. the reservation is for 3/23 thru 3/27 (check out on the 27th). the grand total incl taxes and service fee amounted to 327.74. i was really hoping for the grand hyatt in downtown. i know this may not be possilble, but is there a way to narrow down the hotel? or is one just limited to a zone and a star level on pricline? any thoughts and input will be appreciated.
thereuare Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing it with the board. You can't target a specific property on Priceline... just the zone and geographic boundary (as defined by priceline). If/when you're trying to target a specific property, HOTWIRE may be a better option as you can try to figure out the hotel beforehand by matching the star rating and amenities.Enjoy your stay... and GO BLUE! :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
