N.Italy Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 I just booked my airfare yesterday, and got caught up in the bidding excitement a little too soon. I would much rather be staying in Soho / Mayfair, and added Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridgeto a subsequent attempt. The hotel looks fine, but reviews indicate that it is far from the tube, which I am bummed about. I was hoping for a central location, or being able to get around easily. I don't mind walking - as long as the weather is decent - but we'll have luggage to deal with too... The hotel's website lists the cheapest rate that night as GBP 93 - so it is a good savings. blindman Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 A bus may be a better option than the tube in 'summer'Though of course not with luggage from\to the airportTfl is a good site for fares and travel options. If you're coming in from LHR and are tempted to use the Heathrow Express then ask about the 'discount' fare of
acelite Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Who do you ask about the discounted Heathrow Express fare and how do you qualify for it?
