jessfranco Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Hello,I was just referred to this site and it's amazing!I need some advice on our trip to los angeles. There will be three adults and three children traveling (ages 2-8) Do we need to book two rooms or are there bigger rooms or suites that would be less expensive out there but accomadate all six of us? If not and having to get two individual rooms; would bidding $60 per night be possible for a 3 star hotel in Los Angeles just not downtown? Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! Thanks for the compliments on the site :)There are probably hotel rooms (like an Embassy Suites?) in the area which can accomodate all six of you, but these wouldn't likely be the rooms you receive thru the opaque providers.... which provide 'standard' rooms. As well, priceline only guarantees double occupacy per room, after that it is at the discretion of the hotel... HOTWIRE allows you to search for up to quad occupancy (still two shy of what you're really looking for). If you haven't see it already, see the related "quad occupancy" link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Keep in mind it can often be cheaper booking two hotel rooms thru the opaque providers than one hotel room direct.Let us know your thoughts on the above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
