Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Hollywood) Roosevelt Hotel

heading down to hollywood to see a concert at a club across the street from chinese theater. needed hotel nearby. was planning to stay at cheap 2* places, but they were all booked up for that nite. decdied to try priceline. used savingsbarn.com.

Expedia listed the two 4* hotels in hollywood zone for that nite at $309 for roosevelt hotel hollywood and $299 for the renaissance. wanted the roosevelt cause it was closer to the venue and i didnt want to walk to far late at nite after getting out of the concert.

started bid at $70 with just hollywood zone 4*. rejected.

2nd bid added culver city $80. rejected

3rd bid added redondo $90 rejected

4th bid added brentwood $100 rejected

5th bid added santa monica even though it had another 4* in that zone for 299 on Expedia, but it was over looking the ocean so i gambled it wouldnt give me that for $110. $110 accepted for Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood.

Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood was exactly the hotel i wanted as it was like 100 feet from the concert venue and like 1 block from the subway station i'm getting off at :) also that 2* motel i was originally going to stay at that i thought was cheap would of cost me the same as the 4* i ended up getting lol
