OSUBUCKEYES Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Hi I have been trying unsuccessfully to bid for a hotel from 3/12 to 3/17 in Sydney. I have thus far bid for a 5* up to $130 without any luck. I bid $125 for a 4* and $100 for a 3*. For backup I booked a 3* for about $80 per night however if possible I would like a better place. I have never been to Sydney and am unfamiliar with the success of priceline bids. Unfortunately only one zone exists for the city. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
thereuare Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I suspect you're within $10 (ie- $140 or less) of success for a 5*.If you're not in a rush (although you're dates are rapidly approaching) i'd try $133, $135, $137, $140 on your next bidding attempts... if you're not concerned about a few dollars then just jump it up to $135 and then $140.Good Luck and keep us updated. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
OSUBUCKEYES Posted March 1, 2007 Author Report Posted March 1, 2007 Ill check it out and let you know tonight or tomorrow when I am eligible to bid again. ThanksSteve
