I am newbie to PL and this board.

I am bidding for 2.5* hotel at PBI (West Palm Beach FL Airport).

When I get the "try again right now" screen, if I increase the bid without changing anything else, PL doesn't see the new bid price and complains "Please change at least one part of your original request".

But if I close the browser and start again from the beginning, it appears to process normally. For the rebid, I just change the price; the star level and location are unchanged.

I have had bids of $70, $80, and $90 rejected this way all in the last few minutes.

Are these extra bids really working?

$100 bid was accepted. I got 3* at Airport Hilton.

I had bids for 2.5* of $70, $80, $90 rejected.

My $100 bid was accepted. Tax was $20.28.

See my post above: I was able to make all 4 bids the same day, without changing anything but the offer price, by closing my web browser and trying again. Is that supposed to work?

It's not supposed to work like that, but sometimes there is a glitch in the system... don't take it for granted and don't expect it to work like that in the future :)
