penywisexx Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I am looking for a good 3+ star hotel in San Diego for next sunday and monday. I would like to stay in the downtown area and gas lamp. I am looking to spend 100 or less if possible, but have never had great luck on priceline.Any adivice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know where to start....I will use SavingsBarn.com when using priceline...Thanks! :)
thereuare Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding. Is this for a two nite stay (3/4-3/6)?If so, rates look very high for these dates and this could be a tough win. Have you already researched 'traditional' rates... what is the best deal you're able to find? Do you have a cancellable back-up? (if so, where and how much?)Let us know the above and we'll be able to advise further. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
penywisexx Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 The trip is only for one night, the 4th and check out the 5th. I've found a few places so far, but nothing that jumps out at me, so I have no back up right now. It's still early though, so if I can't win a good bid, I'll be safe at booking straight through a hotel.
slruud Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Have you attempted to bid up to your limit of $100?
