thereuare Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Has been coming up somewhat frequently lately, but not yet identified as probably about 90% of the hotels in the area qualify. mm2u Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 I'm still waiting on this hotel too. I'm wishing that it is a certain hotel but I'm still not confident to try. If anyone tries this 3.5* hotel, PLEASE let us know what it is! I'm looking for a ten day stay in July near the Down Town Disney Village area.
thereuare Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 mm2u,In case you didn't consider it, you could book the first nite of your stay at this property and then if you like it book the other nites (assuming that this property presents itself for both portions of your stay).I'm not necessarily pushing this option, but sometimes i mention it and users say that they never thought of doing that! mm2u Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 THEREUARE,Thanks for the idea! Does Hotwire change hotel listings by the minute? I was sure that the 3.5* hotel was the Holiday Inn in DTD just two weeks ago. Then suddenly Hotwire changed the amenities for the 3.5*. So now I'm not sure what hotel it is. I'm going to keep watching because I have to save money and cannot afford regular prices.
thereuare Posted February 14, 2004 Report Posted February 14, 2004 If/when Hotwire changes the amenity icons on a property it has to be done at some point in time, so i guess if you 'catch it right' (or wrong as the case may be :) ) the same property would be presented to you with a different set of icons. However, i think the above is a very rare event and if the amenity icons have changed there is a much greater chance that a different property is being presented to you.
