shodzic Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 My boyfriend and I will be traveling to London and need a place to stay from March 27th thru April 3rd.Any help on how to bid on priceline or hotwire would be very helpful!I should probably mention that we are not set on where exactly we want to stay, but the Chelsea area is preferable! Thanks!:)
Sweetone Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 As you're new, let me ask you - Have you read the general tips on Priceline? There is some great information that will help you. There are also a number of hotel reviews that may help you select the areas you want to bid. You might also consider what you plan to do during your stay to determine the best location for your base of operations.
shodzic Posted February 24, 2007 Author Report Posted February 24, 2007 Thanks! Will look there now. I guess I was just wondering if there were any special tips from folks on this forum for what I should be looking for.:)
thereuare Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! The best way to use this forum (imo) is to first figure out what you want in terms of this trip... then find out which areas (by zone, as per priceline and/or HOTWIRE) satisfy that need. Then once you have acceptable zone(s) let the board know the dates of your stay, minimum star rating, and maximum budget and then we'll be able to best advise on how to get the best deal given your parameters. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
