Priceline Hotel: 3* or 4* in LOOP or NMA-River North

I'm seeking a room for conference.

Hyatt regency was available at hotwire (around $55) last month, but it disappeared! Ouch!!

So now I'm trying to get one from priceline.

I started from $50, and yet can't get one even with $59 (down to 3-star) and $67 (only with 4-star and Boutique)...

I bet rooms are a kind of limited on that week because of major chemistry conference between 3/25-29 at McCormick.

What is your maximum bid?

Are you looking for the least expensive 3* or better hotel for this stay or are you willing to pay more for a 4*? (ie- try for a four star up to your limit and then lower to a 3* if rejected)

I better have inexpensive 3* and my max is around $70.
