Looking for help with a hotel/casino in Vegas arriving either 7/8 or 7/9 and out 7/14. I'd like to spend around $70 per night. I'd prefer a 3* or higher. How is the Excalibur?

The Excalibur is a 'fine' 3* hotel... not my favorite place to stay in Vegas, but for the right price, perfectly acceptable. (and we're an affiliate, so please use our Exacalibur link if you choose to book this).

If you want to move up to a 4* you're looking at about $100-$110/nite and the Aladdin, Westin, and Treasure Island become possibilities.

Not sure what it will take for your to finalize your dates, but if budget is a factor, staying 7/8-7/13 would likely work out cheaper since Friday nites are usually 2x-4x more expensive than midweek for the same hotel room.

Let us know if any of the above work for you or if we can be of further help.

Personally, (and my experience is only thru walking thru hotel, not staying there) this hotel appears to be very family/kid oriented. This is great if you have kids in tow. If you are like me though, when I go to Vegas, I don't want to be stumbling over kids so I avoid this hotel, even if the price is right.
