Hi,

I would like some help for my Priceline bid.

I need a room for the dates between 04/24/2007 - 04/29/2007 (5 nights), in a 4* hotel in London, UK.

My preferred zones would be (in order of preference):

1. Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge
   
2. Mayfair - Soho
   
3. Bloomsbury - Marble Arch
   
4. Regents Park - Baker Street
   

I've tried the following bids for the last few days with negative results:

2/10:

Bid $80 on Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge, got counteroffer for $114. I decided to try again in 24hrs.

2/11:

Bid $85 on Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge, got counteroffer for $114.

Added Mayfair - Soho and bid $90, rejected

2/12:

Bid $95 on Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge, got rejected (no more counteroffers).

Added Mayfair - Soho and bid $100, rejected.

Added Bloomsbury - Marble Arch and bid $100 again, rejected.

Could you help me with this, considering my maximum budget would be $120 per night?

Based upon the counter-offer (yes, i understand it wasn't offered the last time you bid) i would start with the following two bids:

Select 4* Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge

Bid $112, if rejected add Mayfair-Soho...

Bid $114.

If the counter-offer hotel is still available (and you're just not receiving counter-offers) then the above should be successful... if it is not, just post back and we'll continue the strategy further.

I actually started at $110, willing to increase to $114 if it got rejected but I did not have to since it was accepted:

I actually thought you had bid up to $110 previously, which is why i suggested slightly higher than that, but given best rate for this stay direct from the hotel website is $240/nite i think you did quite well :)
