lido Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 This is my first post so I apologize in advance if I sound stupid. Looking for a 4 star or better in Las Vegas for Thursday March 8-11, for three nights. We really don't care what location, just anywhere near the strip.Any idea when I should start bidding and what price I should start out with? Thanks in advance for any help.

lido Posted February 10, 2007 Author Report Posted February 10, 2007 I know, I just found out yesterday it is Nascar weekend. We have 4 guys and were just looking for the best option. If the place is nice and spacious we would be willing to pay up to $75 a person, so $300/night or so? What do you think? Thanks!
thereuare Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 What do you think?Priceline only guarantees double occupancy, so there is a chance that the hotel you receive will only have one bed in it. As well, many hotels in Vegas now charge extra (some as much as $30 per person per nite :) ) for more than double occupancy... is this a risk you're willing to take?HOTWIRE does have a 4* hotel in the South Strip for $226/nite (best guess is the MGM Grand) when searching for 2adults/2children. This hotel doesn't appear (or appears much higher) when searching for 4 adults, but by selecting 2adults/2children you ensure sleeping accomodations for each person in the room and you can just have one (or two) of you go to the desk at check-in (of course your 'little' nephews are someplace else in the hotel :) )You may be comfortable trying priceline for quad occupancy, you may not be comfortable saying it's 2adults/2children when ther are four adults, so let us know your thoughts. If you do take the above HOTWIRE property, please use our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Let us know your thoughts and/or how it goes and how we can help further.
