bogongmoth Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Bid 1: $75.00 4* Boston Copley - rejectedBid 2: $65.00 3* Boston Copley - accepted; Taxes and Service Fees - $15.88; Total $80.88.Amazing - just wanted a hotel for my first night in town after flying from London. Thought I'd have to stay at the airport as I figured all the Copley hotels were booked or too pricey. Unsuccessfully tried a couple of times at Logan and Copley for 4* on 31 March - bid up to $72 both, up to $77 Logan only. Waited not quite 24 hours but started with Copley this time so happy to reduce the star level. (Would only have accepted 4* at the airport). Didn't need the Logan bid this time, was successful with the Copley 3* bid :)Was already successful for the week (1 April to 7 April) at the Marriot Courtyard Copley (see previous post). Now all I have to do is walk out the door of Copley Square Hotel on Sunday morning and go next door to the Marriot Courtyard from the look of the map. Excellent.Once again went through savingsbarn.com.Once again I have to thank you for the great board and thanks to all who post as well. :)
