sls Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 I bid in $5 increments from around $65 to $95 with no luck. It looks like I'm hunting for a similar stay as yellowdog. I, like him, am in no hurry. I see the Omni on Hotwire for $125, but I'd like to save $100 or so by beating that price on Priceline.

Rates for Hilton is $210+, Gaylord $260+, Hyatt Regency is $250+, Omni should be the similar as Gaylord if they have $125 on HW. It feels like $100 +/- should cut it. But it's still early and you have a weekend stay. And please post your rejections.Good luck!Henrik.

I may have gotten something else cheaper had I waited, but I decided I wanted to have a good chance to get the Omni so I can play some golf at their fantastic courses. However, the Gaylord Palms was booked for Friday and Saturday, so maybe $110 is the best I could do.
