TJewel
Taking a quick trip to Las Vegas to celebrate a Birthday. Decided to stay off strip, but still wanted to be close to the action. A friend had stayed at The Orleans Hotel and Casino and said it was a decent hotel for the price so I booked a cancellable reservation with them and headed to Priceline. Had a $5 bonus coupon for attempting to accept a counteroffer for a flight that didn't happen due to "lack of availability." Lowest rate for 3 star hotel west of strip was at the Orleans for $35. Started bidding at $20 and used my 2 free rebids up to $25 and was accepted at the very hotel I had reservations at for $35/nite. With taxes and fees the total came to $90.22. Attempted to use Savingsbarn.com but not sure it took since I had to click on a link to use bonus money. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win (and thanks for trying to use the SB links :) )Looks like this property doesn't offer much discount on their rooms to the opaque suppliers as without your bonus money this would have been just about the same as buying directly thru the hotel. Thanks for sharing your win and have a great time in Vegas. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
