trigg001 Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 Hotwire has a 4.5* offered for 3/2/07-3/4/07 for 122/night with the following amenities:Fitness CenterRestaurantPoolBusiness CenterHigh Speed Internet AccessFrom the list it looks like this is the Intercontinental. My only concern is that Hotwire also indicates that this hotel has over 20 reviews on tripadvisor. The Intercontinental has only been open since Novemebr 2006 and currently only has 5 reviews on tripadvisor. The other 4.5* in the area is the Langham, which does appear to offer internet access in its lobby.Any idea as to which hotel this may be? If I decide to book it I will link through you guys and update this post. Thanks.
thereuare Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 From the list it looks like this is the IntercontinentalWelcome to BetterBidding. The amenities above are not a match for the Inter-Continental so that is not the most likely outcome for the ID of the above hotel. It so more likely that the Langham has added an Internet icon to their amenity select, and this is indeed the case... making it an exact match for that property. Therefore the best guess for this property is the Langham. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you decide to book it.Please follow-up this post with whatever you decide to do... not just if you end up using HOTWIRE.Let us know if we can be of further help. trigg001 Posted February 6, 2007 Author Report Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks for the info. Looks like you are right, as I plugged in other dates on Hotwire and came up with what was definitely the Intercontinental as it had the laundry and spa services. We already have a hotel room booked for the weekend we are going (the Hyatt Regency), so I may hold out and see if the Intercontinental comes up again on Hotwire. If not, I'll give Priceline a go and see if we can get a hotel comparable to the Hyatt Regency, if not the Hyatt itself, for a better price than we have right now. I'll update this thread either way.
