Hi all,

I am new to bidding and was recommended this site for help. I am looking to stay on the strip preferably in a 4* or higher. I was hoping to pay <$150/night. Am I hoping for too much :) Anyone got some hotel in that price range for those dates? Please share. How should I go about my bidding? Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks a lot!!

When bidding 4* in Vegas you have four re-bid zones availablel (NOTE: Summerlin is not one of them!) If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Just thought I'd let you know what I ended up getting. Priceline was no help...tried everything even up to 175. Hotwire wasn't very helpful either. Orbitz and Expedia listed everything 250 or rooms sold out on Saturday night. I started to check individual hotels and I found that Hilton still had rooms available and for cheap! For the night of 2/23-2/25 I was able to get 143.10 (with AAA discount, I think it's 155 w/o AAA) for a total of 311! Not too bad considering everything on the strip is going for 250+!
