bringit Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 Hi, firstly i want to say great job on providing this forum as a resource!!OK now my problem. I want to stay in NY MTE / MTW 03/15 - 03/19 and have followed a bidding strategy of sorts by adding/removing zones and working my way up from 120 to 200 a night!! Looking at what other people are securing I would have thought that 200 would have been more than enough for a 4* in NY.What am I doing wrong, what are my options, how much higher should I have to go......its not fair!!Richard
thereuare Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 A few users have been having trouble with these dates as:1) it's St. Patricks Day (lots come into to town to see/participate in the parade)2) it's the beginning of the Spring Season for NYC hotels, for which rates go up from the previous (winter) seasonFor your dates you can book the Omni Berkshire for $199 thru Quickbook... the hotel gets very good reviews and it's a "book now pay later" rate so it's cancellable and you can continue to see if anything opens up over the next few weeks as your dates get closer.Does that work for you?
