I want to bid on a resort, 4* or 3* hotel for 2/21-2/24

I've already bid up to $80 on all three hotel classes. The only area I'm willing to consider is SoBe.

Does anyone have any bidding strategy that may work? Bid a bit later? My max. would be $100 per night.

Your chance of success for a 3* hotel for these dates with a $100 maximum bid is probably not a high probability bet. Hopefully you can prove me wrong, and to give it a try you can attempt the following:

When bidding 3* in Miami you have two re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 3* South Beach...

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* South Beach and re-bid zone2...

Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $100.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I bid with all my re-bids and still nothing. I knew that $100 would not be enough, so I went up to $135 and still rejected. I can't spend more since I had to lower my rental car to compact to afford the $135 bid.

How should I proceed? Try to break up the dates or wait to bid a bit closer to the travel date?

Used the link for my bidding.
