Spending most of the time at Parks, so 2.5 to 3.5* is fine. I found the following 'Best Values' pop up. Some I know (and will identify), others I don't and am asking for help to ID.WDW 2.5* Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Laundry - most likely LaQunita Lakeside, $23 for 1st 2 days, $37 for lastMCO 3* Shuttle,Pool,Fitness,Business,Laundry - looks like Holiday Inn Select - for $48.USW 3* Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-speed net, Golf & Tennis - Wyndham $39 for these days!!-- now for the help.... MCO 3.5* Shuttle,Restaurant,Pool, Fitness,Laundry - $51 seems pretty good - any guesses?MCO 2.5* Resort,Shuttle,Restaurant,Pool, Fitness, Breakfast,Business,Laundry (seems like a lot of stuff for a 2.5*) - This comes up at $37/night. Too good to be true? Wonder what it is...Finally, since we'll have a rental car and are looking at going to Sea World and Epcot (maybe Universal too), is staying at MCO too far out of the way? I won't ask for Hotel preferences since I know that's a personal thing. Thanks for the input... Link to comment
tinnub Posted February 3, 2004 Report Share Posted February 3, 2004 Don't know which hotel is which but if you are going to the resorts (Univesal, Sea World, etc.) you really don't want to stay by MCO. One if the few beauties of Orlando is that there are plenty of hotel rooms in the area you want to be. Many hotels near the resorts offer free transportation to the resorts. This saves about $10/day. Spend the extra money on the hotel or gifts. The MCO hotels will require about 30-60 minutes of driving, depending on traffic and possibly some tolls. I live near Orlando and am very familiar with the area. Hope this helps. Link to comment
