Jarcon Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Using previous post as a source, tried bidding entire 4-night stay (5/28-6/1) for up to $130 but was not accepted. I decided to split my stay as I really wanted to try the Venetian. Bid the first 2 nights (website price was $179) starting at 105 and also received a counter-offer for $133. Ignored and rebid at $120 and was accepted. Very happy about this bid and think I will book remaining nights at Treasure Island or Mirage with cancellable rates and keep watching the Venetian for any other changes in rates as the date approaches. Thanks for all your information!

If we can be of further help for the balance of your stay feel free to start a NEW TOPIC.Thanks again for the post and good luck in Vegas. Jarcon Posted January 29, 2007 Author Report Posted January 29, 2007 Thank you for all your help. I have booked the Mirage for the other 2 nights (5/30-6/1) and will see how the Venetian on Priceline goes. I will be cancelling this 4 night stay that I booked with EasyClickTravel previously at the Aladdin (from info you gave to others on this board). I just could not pass up the opportunity for the Venetian at such a good price. Thank you for your help and in the future I will use all the links for hotels through your site, including the link at SavingsBarn.com.Jarcon
