I would like people's opinion on the following:

I still need to book 2 more nights 3/13/07-3/15/07 and currently looking at some 2.5* hotels on hotwire for $39.

I know the quality of the above hotel I just bid on, and is listed at $120 a night on priceline.

So the question is:

Do you think I should try and book the same hotel I just bid on for those 2 nights, knowing what I could get, and the price difference being only $12 night x 2 room x 2 days = $48 difference. Or should I try and go for the unknown 2.5* hotel on Hotwire.

I don't follow the math...

If Priceline is listing this property at $120 for the balance of your stay... where does the $12 difference come from?

The $120 is what you would pay priceline, if you did not do the name your price option.

Thus with the bidding option, I could get this same priceline Hotel for $51 dollars on priceline(name your price). There is another 2.5* Hotel I am looking at on hotwire which is listing for $39(which I can't identify yet). Thus this is where the $12 difference comes from, comparing a hotel on priceline vs hotwire.
