Priceline Hotel: San Diego 2/8-2/11

I am following same advice as HERE after accessing through savingsbarn. Going for 4* San Diego. 2/8 to 2/11/07. And getting "We're sorry, but we can't accept your offer of $87 for a hotel room in the San Diego, CA area."

Any ideas?

I couldn't pass up trying one more time so went for $90 and still no luck. Read post on 3* and now understand that it is highly unusual to get it for $73 or under $95 for that matter. Will try again at later date or possibly for 3*.

Alright, for a 3* I am willing to get the following zones; Downtown, Coronado, Del Mar. I would be willing to pay up to $70. What do you recommend I use for a strategy?

Bid $35, if rejected add Coronado...

Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...
