shpedly Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I did a search for rates in orlando/universal/seaworld area. Got a 3 1/2 satr with the floowing icons: restaurants, pool, fitness center, internet connection, business center, tennis nearby, and laundry. It popped up as a best buy, or something like that, for $52/night. Any ideas?
thereuare Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding! The amenities you describe seem to match what is known for the Radisson Hotel Orlando at entrance to Universal Orlando, which you can confirm by looking at the FLORIDA HOTWIRE HOTELS (be sure to read beyond the first post in the thread). If you decide to purchase this hotel, please let us know how it works out. shpedly Posted February 2, 2004 Author Report Posted February 2, 2004 Thank you for your previous help, I didn't read completely that there were additions to the list at the end. Anyway, I am now getting a hotel in universal/sea world area I cannot find on the list exactly. It is rated 4 star with rest, pool, fitness, high spd internet, bus ctr, and laundry icons. I was originally thinking it was Crowne Plaza Universal, but that hotel does not have the internet icon on the better bidding list.
shpedly Posted February 2, 2004 Author Report Posted February 2, 2004 Oh by the way, it came up as $70/night for mar 28-apr3, and is rated a best value.
thereuare Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 This hotel has come up a few timed before (HOTWIRE EXAMPLE), but it has not yet been identified. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
shpedly Posted February 2, 2004 Author Report Posted February 2, 2004 Is it possible that it is Crowne Plaza Universal? The crowne plaza website says the hotel has high speed internet. Expedia lists the rates for those dates as 158/night.
thereuare Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 It's certainly possible, but thru some add'l research, i'm doubtful that this is the Crowne Plaza. If you do a search in this zone for today until tomorrow, you'll see what has previously been associated with the Crowne Plaza to still be in effect.
