sheal Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Started bidding early as I like to have my plans complete.Bid $80.00 for 5* Kensington, rejected. Added Bloomsbury, dropped to 4* and lowered price to $75. Rejected again, I then added Mayfair and increased price to $80. Bidding process took a while and told me to check back. Did so 10 minutes later and price was accepted. Total for 2 rooms for 2 nights with taxes amounted to $387.50.Probably could have saved some more money if I waited it out but I was willing to budget up to $100. Used the Savingsbarn link. Thanks betterbidding!

OSUBUCKEYES Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 I stayed at this hotel the first week of Jan. It is extremely close to the olympia tube stop. The hotel itself is fine, however some rooms on the second floor are substandard because they lack a window to the outside. Otherwise everything at the hotel was nice, although we did not eat there. The area is more residential however it is filled with various restaurants and stores. Enjoy
