jpackfan Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 I've been looking for a deal in Chicago on 2/16 also and see a $72 rate with all the same features as this Hotwire Chicago Hotel but it is in the Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville area instead of the loop. If the Hyatt Regency is in the Loop area then what might his hotel be?
thereuare Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Zone boundaries are constantly changing and it appears that this zone has recently been redefined (i think the boundary used to be the river... and it is now clearly South of the river, where the Hyatt is located). The above amenities (from the other thread: Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa) match both the Hyatt and the W Lakeshore so it could be either one (perhaps a reason for the change in zone... to increase opacity?). Our best guess is the Hyatt, but since this and the W Lakeshore look the same, can't say for certain which it will be.Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Miss5k Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I just booked a hotel with Hotwire for the nights of 2/15 and 2/18 (two separate bookings). The hotel was $72 and in the Magnificent Mile Area - Streetervill and we got the Hyatt Regency Chicago. I hope that helps
