Currently I am up to $140 (started at $100) for a 4*Deluxe for Downtown and/or the Capitol zones. I have use multiple re-bid options with no luck. Hope that helps provide a gauge and if anyone else has any suggestions, please advise.(Yes, I used the Savingsbarn link.)

If you'd consider Dupont Circle, HOTWIRE has a 4* property (Hilton Washington and Towers?) there for $105/nite. I don't know the metro system there very well, but i do know that mass transit is usually pretty good (up until midnite as the system does shutdown somewhat early for late nite activities) and maybe you could still easily get to the area(s) you need to go to that would make the savings worthwhile? Thoughts?I still have time, so I will probably keep trying.
