mtoll Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I just got the Hyatt Regency Miami for $65 for May 29, the night before my cruise. I got 2 rooms at that rate on a re-bid. I started at 4 star and lost, added 3 star on the re-bid and got this hotel. I hope this info helps someone. Now I have to go find a South Beach hotel for two nights after the cruise - June 6 & 7. Any info is appreciated.

Rebid 72 hours later starting with 4* so I could change to 3* if nothing was available.As for South Beach, I would like to be on or near the beach, need two rooms for a total of 4 people (two beds each room), dates of June 6 and 7, check out June 8. Post-cruise stay - cruise gets back to Miami June 6. We are from Alaska and hope to enjoy the vibrancy and liveliness South Beach seems to offer. I want a 4* or resort, if possible. A quick search on Orbitz showed some pretty good deals for that time frame.I appreciate any and all help.If anyone ever has any Alaska hotel questions, please feel free to ask. I know Priceline has attributed star qualities to hotels in Anchorage that most Alaskans feel are not deserved. When I have more time, will go to the Alaska forum to see if I can help.
