Used the Hotwire search from Better Bidding.

We used to be really happy with the hotel(s) we would get via Priceline -- not in the last year however. Plus, the prices seem to have gone up a lot in 2007 on PL. Hotwire had the better deal and we got a different hotel!

Yes, I noticed as well that it is recently renovated. I was wondering perhaps that is why its a StudioPLUS now? Anyway, we are happy. I could not take the LaQuinta again :)

I just wanted to say that after researching this hotel a little more, I learned that it is going to become an Extended Stay, from the StudioPLUS. Not the other way around as I had originally thought.

The former Studio Plus chain seems to have been absorbed by or merged into the Extended Stay America chain. The new chain seems to have also absorbed the old Crosslands properties and also Homestead Village properties. All extended stay properties but significant variation in room size.

In regard to the subject property and the original poster's upcoming stay, I noticed on the way in from the airport last night the signage has changed to say Extended Stay, rather than Studio Plus.
