Priceline Hotel: Help: Resort- North Lake Thoe for Feb 17th and 18th

Good Morning,

I need to book a Resort (Hyatt) for Feb 17th and 18th at North Lake Tahoe.

I know that my firt Bidding should be

Areas: North Lake Tahoe and Carson City

Star Level: Resort

I need to know the starting Price.

I would also appreciate if I could get the starting Price for 4* and 3* @ North Lake Tahoe.

Just to clarify... you're not just bidding on the Hyatt, you're bidding on a Resort property. Although this is the only Resort listed in the priceline hotel list, there could always be others not yet reported and you can be the first add a new property to the list.

Assuming you're "ok" with the above, what is your maximum bid? With this we can determine your starting bid as well as suggest a strategy to follow.

Also, can you confirm that this is a 2 nite stay you're looking for (2/17-2/19)?

I understand that I may get a different property if Priceline has added it recently.

I will be staying there for 2 nights 2/17 to 2/19.

My max bid would be $150 per night ($300 total excluding taxes)

If this is too low then please suggest the bidding price for 4* and 3* in North LT, I'm going there for the first time so I have no idea about the rates.

If you check the Hyatt Website you'll see that the hotel is sold-out for these dates (when i looked a few hours earlier they were $600-$700 per nite) so your chances of success of landing this property for $150 or less are slim (unless of course there is another Resort property in the area).

If you want to try anyway you have two re-bid zones when bidding the Resort level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select Resort North Lake Tahoe...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $125, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select Resort North Lake Tahoe and re-bid zone2...

Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $150.

Thanks, I tried upto $180 and still it was not accepted.

Ended up booking Harrahs.
