finzup Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 One good thing I noticed is that Hotwire only charged me $7 tax total (2 rooms, 3 nights) - so my 2 room, 3 nights only came to 601.00 (including taxes). I checked Priceline, and their taxes were going to be approx $95 !! So my same bid of $99 would have cost me lots more on Priceline. Don't know why their "fees and taxes" are so much more. So when booking always note the tax. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase. On other sites, I was only finding 2* properties for around $129 US so getting $99US/night is great. I checked hilton's website and the same 2 rooms were~ $1200 for those dates. Yay hotwire! :)
